Parking Information
Parking is provided in the City of St. Marys to assist with the various needs of the downtown, including short term spaces for shopping and dining. Public parking lots include short term and long-term spaces for workers and entertainment.
The City of St. Marys parking meter rate is 25¢ per hour. Hourly parking fees may be paid at the meter using coinage or via the MeterFeeder app.
Parking is enforced from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday for all on street parking and parking lots. The parking garage is 24-hour enforcement.
Parking is free on Sundays and all Federal Holidays.
Parking fines for meter violations is $5.00 and payable at parking fine collection boxes located the entrance into the Market Street parking lot, City Hall and the Police Department. Parking fines may also be paid via the MeterFeeder app.
Long term parking permits may be purchased at the Police Department at 319 Erie Ave., 3rd Floor. or using the MeterFeeder permit links below. 781-1315.

Parking Permits are available for spaces in designated lots and areas downtown:
General Parking Permit – The monthly fee of $40.00 permits parking at any metered location, metered lot, unmetered lot and parking garage between the hours of 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Parking Garage Overnight Permit – The monthly fee of $30.00 permits parking within the parking garage without time limitation.

Limited Parking Permit – The monthly fee of $20.00 permits non-priority parking at color-coded meters in any metered parking lot, at specially color-coded on-street meters, and at the parking garage between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M.

Parking Garage Limited Permit – The monthly fee of $10.00 permits parking at any time between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. within the parking garage only.
